Shine On

Tips about tipping are starting to come in to Teatime and Tide, as people are becoming more aware of the project. I received a message saying a fridge/freezer had been tipped down a road in Greenhill early evening and  by the time I got to it the conditions were right for the image I had in mind. I like to imagine that even after it has been discarded the light in the fridge shines on into the night as a beacon of hope for other abandoned white goods...

  1. How amazing! Like a sci-fi film still.

  2. This beautiful image is also rather a poignant idea as 'white goods' have less than slave status (if you regard them as sort of primitive household robots). I like to buy these things from charity shops which specialise in household goods, so they can have a second life benefitting people twice over and also help to reduce waste.
